Building and E-Business: Design, Development and Management
The first thing that came into my mind when i heard the word e-commerce is conducting business through the internet. Then when the lecture started i was actually right. We Learned about different types of e business. The design, development and management. The different types that were discussed are:
-Turnkey Solution
- E- Business templates
- Project outsourcing
- Front end System
- Back and System
Having a business layout and defining the primary purpose of the business is very important.
Maintaining the e business is also a key to success.
Online Monetary Transactions
Using the internet to buy products is very convenient for shoppers. People like to shop but others prefer to shop at home without having to leave. Different Payment methods are available for people who shop online.
The security of a business for its online monetary transactions is important. because client details are supposed to be handled privately between the seller and consumer. Credit card transactions, digital cash and e wallets. smart cards, micro payments and electronic bill payments are the different online monetary transactions.Some popular online monetary transactions are e-bay and paypal.

HTML basics.
We learned about the definition of HTML and some samples of HTML codes were shown to us.
But it was still pretty hard to listen during the lecture because of all the distractions during class, i have little knowledge of HTML and got pretty confused during the lecture. But i still managed to understand some of it because of google haha. Reading through the PDF's get confusing without hands on examples.

In This lecture we learned about different e business models which include

- The Auction Model
- The Portal Model
- The Name Your Price Model
- The Comparison Pricing Model
- The Demand Sensitive Pricing Model
- The B2b Exchange Model
Learning about these business model helped me understand how the different models work. It has really affected It has greatly affected the way people advertise or present their business.
